Are you playing it in the right DVD player? You may need to download a programme which will play it e.g. DivX, Real Player etc. Or you may need a codec to be able to play the correct file.
Check out the folder it was downloaded to, theres probably alot of rar files that end in .r00 .r01 .r02, etc you have to open them using winrar and extract the video

You go out and legally buy/rent the movie instead of stealing it. Sheesh.

800MB is a very short film, a few minutes or it’s in really low resolution.
A DVD holds 4.7GB (4700MB) which is enough for a film and just a few extras.
